Your safety is our top priority. This page explains our Helmet replacement policy.
We are offering a replacement policy on all Karben Riding Helmets that have been damaged through impact and no longer usable. Proof of purchase is required and must be presented when making a claim under this policy. This is a 12-month policy, meaning any helmets purchased more than 12 months ago are not eligible for coverage and we will not offer any discount for a replacement.
· If the helmet was purchased within the last 6 months, we will offer a 50% discount on a replacement
· If the helmet was purchased 7-12 months ago, we will offer a 25% discount on a replacement.
Please note, Proof of purchase will be required upon filing out the claim form. If you can’t provide this, we won’t be able to offer a discounted replacement.
This policy does not cover
· Helmets that have been misused
· Neglect
· General wear and tear
· Customised or personalised products
· Helmets purchased more than 12 months ago
If we identify any of the above, we will not be able to offer a discounted replacement.
When filling out the claim form, you will be asked to supply any information regarding the claim. Please supply a good range of images, clearly showing where the defect is. Please also describe what has happened. This makes it easier for us to understand the fault and will allow us to get back to you in a shorter time frame.
Once the form has been submitted, our customer services team will be in touch shortly regarding next steps. Please do not dispose of the Helmet until you are instructed to by customer services. We may also request that the helmet gets sent back to use for inspection. Any postage will be covered by us.
