Karben Air5 Vest with advanced neck protection for riders. Designed for performance-focused riders, this premium air vest delivers advanced upper-body protection in the event of a fall. Developed by Karben with SPARK technology and certified to the NF S72-800:2022 airbag vest safety standard, it automatically deploys in just 0.2 seconds when the rider becomes separated from the horse. Strategically positioned airbags help protect the neck, chest, back, hips and torso, while an enlarged neck airbag provides enhanced cervical support and protection. Integrated shock-absorbing foam in the front of the vest offers additional impact protection.
The vest features a reliable mechanical activation system with a one-click saddle connector for quick attachment and removal. An adjustable internal waist belt ensures a secure, comfortable fit without restricting movement. Following deployment, the vest can be quickly reset by replacing the CO₂ cartridge (sold separately). Lightweight yet durable, it is suitable for both training and competition use and is supplied with an elasticated operating saddle strap and Allen key.

IMPORTANT: The air vest must be worn as the outermost layer of clothing. The horse must be at least 120cm (approx. 12hh) tall for correct airbag deployment. Please read all instructions before first use.
ATTENTION: CO₂ cartridge not included. Must be purchased separately (Product Code 11461). Only original Karben CO2 Air Vest cartridges may be used.
FITTING YOUR AIR VEST JACKET
To ensure proper use and full protection, the Air Vest must be fitted properly.
Using a tape measure, consult the size chart below to confirm that you are using the Air Vest of the correct size. When worn correctly, the Air Vest should be long enough to provide protection to the hips once deployed but should not be long enough to touch the saddle while riding.
The Air Vest is to be worn as outerwear. As such, it must be able to fit comfortably over your riding clothes. The waist size can be adjusted using an adjuster located inside the vest.
Before each use, inspect the Air Vest to ensure there is no damage.
